March '10 Expressions 8x8 Page 3 viewsI saved a piece of my favorite paper from this months' kit to make my 8x8 page for March. I used a piece of black cardstock for the background just to make those colors and rub-on words really stand out! The tiny letter stickers were used to spell out "MARCH" and the bracket and "dreams" stickers were added - I made a mat for my photo out of some leftover scraps of the yellow paper and the circle pattern strip - I also added the "tomorrow is another day" rub on to the bottom of the page.

Nothing is Impossible 4 viewsThis card was made on the red cardstock base. A strip of the butterfly patterned paper was cut to 4.25 inches and adhered to the bottom third of the card. I also layered with a strip of the green ribbon. The "nothing is impossible" sticker was added as shown. The last step is to cut out more butterflies from the rest of the strip of butterfly paper - after they are cut out - simply fold them so that their wings fold up and adhere each one by adding glue just to the center of the butterflies. They become 3-D and pop up so cute!

For you3 viewsI can't quit making these fun pocket cards - I used a piece of plain white cardstock that I had on hand to make the base for this one. Everything else comes from the kit - I cut a piece of the blue polka dot paper to 4 x 5.25 inches for the triangles and used a strip of the flower border sticker around the card. I folded the red marquee sticker in half to use as the pull tab and added the "for you" letters to it. The tutorial for building these pocket cards is available in a video on my blog! brujahrose.blogspot.com

One of a Kind3 viewsI used the remainder of the blue patterned paper to create another pocket card. I used some of my own black cardstock as a base for this card. A border sticker was used around the card as well as the "Simple pleasures" sticker. A piece of the yellow cardstock was used for the "pocket" and the "one of a kind" sticker was added as the pull tab - the tutorial for building these cards is available at my blog - brujahrose.blogspot.com
